He is thedirection of Japan now.
You've heard it all from Takeshi Okada before: Japan reaching the World Cup semifinals; his team being as good as any team in the world; and claiming his offer to resign after losing to South Korea was all a joke.
Now here's the least from the Japan maneger out of South Africa: We can beat Cameroon just like South Korea beat Greece.
"It's our turn now" Okada said on Saturday, hours after Archrival swept to a 2-0 victory over the 2004 European champion in launching its Group B campion.
"We are more than capable of producing a similar result in our game."
For the sake of Okada and his team, let's hope the coach knows something the rest of the world dose not know because judging by their recent results and performances, the odds of Japan thrashing Cameroon appear slim to say the least.
